When chance changes everything

The play “Big Money” is based on the eponymous play by the famous British playwright Ray Cooney, which captivates from the very first minutes and does not let go until the very end. According to the plot, modest accountant Henry lived a fairly measured and modest life. But his life suddenly turns upside down after an unexpected discovery – of a suitcase stuffed with money. It would seem this is a chance for a new life, but along with the money come problems. The hero is forced to improvise, invent, try on different roles – from a lovestruck romantic to an adventurer and even a participant in criminal stories – in order to keep the suddenly acquired wealth.

In the play, events unfold at a rapid pace. Gradually, situations become more complicated, lies accumulate, and circumstances become increasingly absurd. Each new plot twist only intensifies the tension and comedy, making the audience laugh and at the same time empathize with the characters.
